Day Trip Visitors met with Cavalier attitude!

This week our guide in Oxfordshire, Trish, surprised a Greatdays group with a visit from a 17th century Cavalier!

Henley on Thames is well known for the annual Henley Regatta held at the end of June and which brings thousands of visitors from all over the world to the area.   Henley also played an important part in the civil war, a fact which was illustrated by local resident Dave Eggleton who dressed as a 17th Century Cavalier to welcome the group to the town.   These days it is said that Henley is home to a number of celebrities including Philip Schofield and Orlando Bloom.
