Brighton Rocks!

Gina Halden, Sales Manager B2B Accounts, recently attended a Kew Green Hotels event in Brighton.  Guests from the travel industry were invited for a weekend to celebrate the recent refurbishment of the Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront to take part in a workshop and enjoy a Strictly Come Dancing themed party night.  The workshop was hosted by several of Kew Green Hotel properties from the UK, together with some local attractions and tourist boards.

It was a good opportunity to see what the town and the region has to offer as it was Gina’s first visit to the resort.  Even though there was limited time, Gina managed to walk around the maze of alleys and passageways otherwise known as The Lanes, sampled some goodies from Choccywoccydoodah’s, had fish ‘n’ chips on the famous Pier and viewed the magnificent Brighton Pavillion.

Unfortunately, the new the British Airways i360, a 162-metre observation tower on the seafront near to the West Pier, is still under construction and expected to by ‘up’ and running by August 2016 – it looks amazing.

Brighton certainly rocks!
