All the Tea in China
World of Wedgwood
Explore, taste and shop at the award-winning World of Wedgwood. You will start your day with a cup of tea and a scone served on beautiful, delicate china. After this you are free to explore the museum and factory on a self-guided tour which takes you on a fascinating journey through Wedgwood’s pottery past. Access to the factory gives you the opportunity to learn about the production process and technique behind each piece. Come and see the craftsmen at work in the heart of the Potteries. They utilise unique artisan skills and techniques honed over 250 years at Barlaston, the home of Wedgwood.
The Wedgwood Museum traces 250 years of groundbreaking design and production and demonstrates the work of Josiah Wedgwood and the lasting global influence on industry and society. We recommend you choose either the factory tour or the museum to leave time to explore the rest of the site. However you are welcome to do both.
Before departure round off your visit with a look around the flagship store or factory outlet, where many bargains can be found.
