Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Travel to your hotel

If time and route permit, why not explore some of the picturesque Cotswolds villages on the way to your hotel?

Day 2

Bristol and Brunel’s SS Great Britain

This morning we take a route through the Avon Gorge to see Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge and then on to another of his masterpieces, the SS Great Britain. Launched in Bristol in 1843, this was the world’s first ocean-going, propeller-driven, iron ship. The historic vessel is now conserved with the hull protected by a ‘glass sea’. Visitors can experience what life was like for the ship’s Victorian passengers and crew. We then travel into the city centre where there’s free time to explore the city centre and Bristol’s famous Harbourside.

Day 3

Bath and the Roman Baths

Today we travel to the Roman city of Bath, where there’s free time to discover the city’s Georgian architecture. Our tour includes admission into the world famous Roman Baths, one of the city’s finest historic sites where you can walk on the ancient cobbled pathways much as the Romans did 2,000 years ago.

Then walk to the Grade I listed Pulteney Bridge. Completed by 1774, the bridge was designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style. It is exceptional in having shops built across its full span on both sides.

Day 4
