Travel to Blackpool
Arrive at the Grand Hotel, situated on the sea front a short walk from the North Pier. If there’s time, enjoy a stroll along the promenade. Then it’s time for a very special evening. Enjoy a buffet dinner then take your seats for an evening of live entertainment featuring Chris Lloyd and Gabrielle Zanobini. They will take you on a trip down memory lane with great songs and nostalgia from the 1940s and beyond.
Day 2
Heritage Tram Ride and Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer Tea Dance, Blackpool Illuminations
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we board one of Blackpool’s famous heritage trams for the 30 minute journey along the promenade to the Blackpool Tower and the equally famous Tower Ballroom. Take your seats for a lunchtime Cream Tea Dance accompanied by the Wurlitzer organ.
The afternoon is free to explore Blackpool before dinner at the hotel this evening.
After dinner, why not take a journey through Blackpool’s famous illuminations. You could either do this on your coach or we could arrange a tram ride (supplement would apply).
For generations, children and adults alike have been entranced by the spellbinding seafront spectacle which bathes the promenade with more than a million magical bulbs in a shimmering sea of light. The greatest free light show on earth has been a major part of Blackpool’s attraction scene since 1879 when they were described as ‘artificial sunshine’.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience miles of festoon, larger-than-life tableaux, illuminated trams, laser technology and stunning projection shows.

Staff will help as much as they can with boarding but are unable to provide direct physical assistance.
The trams can accommodate a folded wheelchair.
