Day 1
Depart the UK
Travel to either Dover (ferry) or Folkestone (Eurotunnel) for the crossing to Calais, then continue to your chosen hotel for the next three nights. (190 miles).
Day 2
Chateau de Modave and Durbuy
Start the tour at a relative slow pace and make the short journey to Chateau de Modave. Standing on the banks of the River Houyoux this tall and stately castle is a rare example of 17th century French architecture. We then continue to Durbuy, once known as the smallest town in the world. Ironically, the smallest town in the world is home to the biggest Topiary Gardens in the world, over 10000m2 of trees pruned into all sorts of shapes and sizes. (70 miles).
Day 3
Spa Experience
The day begins with a visit to the museum housed in the magnificent vaulted cellars of Abbey Stavelot. The museum’s collection features motorcars and bikes that illustrate the history of the famous circuit. Following the museum, drive to the circuit where you will have a tour of the paddocks and a lap of probably the most famous and loved track on the Formula 1 circuit (using your own coach). Following lunch at the track return to your hotel via the beautiful Belgian Ardennes with a variety of stop-offs possible depending on your hotel location. (100 miles).
Day 4
Return to the UK
Retrace your steps across Belgium and travel back to Calais for the return ferry or Eurotunnel crossing to the UK and journey home.
