Cruise on Land in Eastbourne
This winter tour allows you the fun of a cruise whilst staying firmly on dry land, in a warm, cosy hotel situated on Eastbourne’s promenade, benefiting from lovely sea views. From the comfort of our hotel we ‘travel’ to China, Italy, America and good ol’ Blighty through special theme nights including dinner and entertainment. Often described as the ‘suntrap of the south’, Eastbourne is an elegant resort on the Sussex coast. There is plenty of time for you to explore the local area and further afield, with suggested day trips to Hastings and Rye and Brighton. or simply stay in the hotel, relax and enjoy the view.

Travel to your hotel and Great Britain themed evening
Enjoy a welcome tea and coffee on arrival. There is free time to settle into your hotel.
Tonight we celebrate Great Britain with a ‘Sunday Lunch’ style dinner. Our evening entertainment is a live singer performing music from the ’60s and ’70s.
Rye and Hastings & Chinese themed evening
Today we travel along the coast to the fortified hilltop town of Rye. Once surrounded by sea, Rye played an important role in the defence of the south coast of England. There’s an opportunity to explore the enchanting cobbled streets, secret passages and beautifully preserved houses from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian times. In the afternoon we travel the short distance to Hastings, with more passages and narrow streets.
Tonight our cruise takes us to the Orient with a Chinese buffet dinner and ping pong tournament or a martial.
Brighton and American themed evening
We travel to bustling Brighton today and visit the famous Royal Pavilion. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, it mixed Regency Grandeur with the visual styles of India and China.
Tonight we visit America with a themed menu, and a live singer singing American hits.
Explore Eastbourne and Italian themed evening
The last day of this short break is a free day and a chance to explore Eastbourne itself. Perhaps take a boat trip to Beachy Head, visit the Victorian Pier, or simply take it easy, watching the world go by on the Promenade, or in one of the many tea rooms.
Mambo Italiano tonight with an Italian dinner and folk dancing lesson.
