Puy du Fou – History is Waiting for You
Puy du Fou is a historical-themed French amusement park that is unique and unlike any other traditional theme parks. Located in the heart of the Vendée region of Western France, it is just an hour’s drive away from Nantes. Le Logis De Lescure
This 18th century lodge is located right at the entrance to the Grand Parc, and offers 4 different suites, La Salle des Miroirs (the Hall of Mirrors) for passionate dreamers, Le Planétarium (The Planetarium) for budding astronomers, Le Cabinet des Curiosités (The Cabinet of Curiosities) for explorers, and Le Salon de Musique (The Music Room) for romantic music lovers. La Citadelle
La Citadelle features an impressive gateway and a medicinal herb garden. The hotel has rooms which can sleep up to five people, with free Wifi, television, and air conditioning. There is also a restaurant located in the Citadelle’s main courtyard which serves a buffet breakfast and dinner.
Îles de Clovis
The Îles de Clovis is a collection of fifty huts with thatched roofs and half-timbering that will bring you back to the Middle Ages. It is surrounded by nine man-made lakes enhanced by over 80,000 plants and features rooms with granite handbasins and oak beds.
Camp du Drap d’Or
The Camp du Drap d’Or features flamboyant lodgings of the Field of the Cloth of Gold. This hotel is inspired by the meeting between England’s Henry VIII and Francis I of France. All rooms have free WiFi, television, and free parking is available on site.
