Day 1
Travel to Germany
Depart from your local area to Dover for a ferry crossing to Calais. Continue through France into Germany and stop for an overnight stay in the Dusseldorf area.
Day 2
Board in Berlin
After breakfast, continue across Germany to Berlin. Passengers are welcome to board our ship in Berlin starting at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you will be welcomed by the Captain and introduced to the crew along with a welcome cocktail. Enjoy dinner on board and remain in port overnight.
Day 3
Berlin and Sanssouci Palace Gardens
This morning, why not join the optional tour of Berlin to take in some of the highlights. Return to the ship and continue cruising towards Nedlitz. You’ll discover the idyllic charm of the lakes formed by the Havel River. In the afternoon, there’s an optional visit to the gardens at the Sanssouci Palace. Afterwards, we’ll return to the ship and begin to cruise to Wusterwitz. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.
Day 4
Magdeburg
Spend a leisurely morning cruising towards Magdeburg, home to Germany’s first Gothic cathedral. Perhaps join the excursion into the town this afternoon. Afterwards, return to the ship for an evening of dancing.
Day 5
Wittenberg
Once the ship has arrived in Wittenberg, perhaps leave on the optional guided tour of the city. Visit Luther’s house, a former Augustinian monastery which is now the Reformation Museum and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Tonight will be CroisiEurope Quiz Night.
Day 6
Meissen and Dresden
In Meissen, perhaps join the guided tour through this city famed for its trademark porcelain. In the afternoon, why not join the tour of Dresden and discover this city, known as Florence of the Elbe. Enjoy an evening of dancing tonight.
Day 7
Elbe Sandstone Mountains
This morning there’s an optional excursion to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We’ll discover the Königstein Fortress, overlooking the Elbe and one of the largest hilltop fortresses in Europe. We’ll then stop at the Bastei rock formation towering above the Elbe and formed by water erosion over one million years ago. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Usti. Enjoy an evening of entertainment on board.
Day 8
Litomerice
Continue sailing to the town of Litomerice. Perhaps join the tour to get to know one of Bohemia’s oldest cities which was established in the 10th century on the site of a Slavic fort. The afternoon will be spent cruising before an evening of entertainment on board.
Day 9
Prague
Upon arrival in Kralupy, there’s the option to join a tour to Prague’s beautiful Old Town. Meet the ship in Prague and in the afternoon the option visit is to the Parague Castle area and includes Saint Vitus Cathedral, the most recognizable landmark in the city, the Prague Castle, and the Golden Lane. Tonight, on your last evening on board, enjoy the gala evening and dinner.
Day 10/11
Debark in Prague
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. Begin your journey back across Germany, once again stopping in the Dusseldorf area overnight. The following morning, retrace your steps back to Calais and cross the Channel to the UK.

The Elbe Princess is a premium paddlewheeler whose elegant restaurant features panoramic views. Entertainment is hosted in the lounge bar which has a dance floor and there’s also a gift shop on board. The cabins have air conditioning, TVs, telephones for internal calls and safes.
