Round the Rings We Flow – New group tour
Includes guided river cruise around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park knits a vibrant area of East London into a modern urban destination – redefining the historic industrial and creative heartlands of Stratford and Hackney Wick as an exciting and sustainable place to live, work, study, play and visit. Award winning parklands, waterways and playgrounds are free to visit every day. Former Olympic and Paralympic venues – including London Stadium, the London Aquatics Centre, the Copper Box Arena and Lee Valley VeloPark – sit alongside innovative business districts, quality neighbourhoods, excellent schools and universities, the biggest names in culture and a talented workforce, and combine to make Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park a global centre for London.
You will have a great overview of the park from a two and a half hour guided river tour of Stadium Island within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which includes magnificent views of the London Stadium, the AcelorMittal Orbit and the newly refurbished Carpenters Road Lock.
Departing from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Pontoon at Stratford Waterfront, by the London Aquatics Centre, the journey takes you through Carpenters Road Lock, along the old River Lea, passing the ‘Big Breakfast House’ before entering the Lee Navigation and St Thomas Creek. We join City Mill River where you will enjoy fantastic views of the Stadium and Orbit before going through the Lock again to cruise to the north of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with uninterrupted views of the award-winning parklands, gardens and the iconic Olympic venues.
All of the vessels are mobility accessible with toilets and a bar serving a variety of hot and cold drinks.

Day 1
Travel to London
Make your way to your hotel in the Docklands area of London – and area which over the years has been totally transformed into one of the most modern business centres in the world, yet still retaining some of the original charms of the Old London Docks.
As well as the large modern office blocks you will find a great commercial shopping network, bars, restaurants and pubs, some of which occupy converted warehouse buildings. The Museum of the Docklands is one such building, situated close to Canary Wharf, and well worth a visit.
This evening, there is an an optional dinner either in the hotel or in a nearby pub or restaurant ( supplements on request)
Day 2
River Cruise & Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park
Breakfast in the hotel
Drive to Stratford and the Olympic Park, just a short distance away from your hotel.
On arrival make your way to the Olympic Park Pontoon, where you will join your boat for the 2 1/2 hour guided tour around the waterways of the park. Refreshments are available to purchase on board. On your return to the Pontoon, you have some free time to either explore the Park, which may include a visit to the Arcelormittal Orbit or the London Aquatics Centre.
