Scottish Burns Break
Celebrate the life and works of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns, at a Scottish Burns Break in Perth! With live Scottish entertainment, ‘Address to the Haggis’ accompanied by a piper and a wee dram, this traditional Scottish Burns Night celebration is not one to be missed! Along with the entertainment package we have complemented your trip with visits to the historic Scone Palace, the interesting Black Watch Museum and one of the largest and most important castles in the world – Stirling Castle. When exploring Scone Palace, the crowning place of the Scottish Kings, guides will tell fascinating stories of the palace and the ‘Stone of Scone’. At the Black Watch Museum, one of Perth’s main attractions, explore the beautiful gardens.

Travel to hotel
If you have time on route why not visit the engineering masterpiece that is the Falkirk Wheel. You will take a boat from the basin, and sail into the bottom gondola of the wheel, which gently lifts the boat up to join the Union Canal 35m above (Falkirk Wheel available at a supplement of £10.00 per person). Later arrive at The Salutation Hotel in Perth. You will be welcomed to your carvery dinner with a glass of bubbly. After dinner, be entertained by the resident accordion player as you relax into your surroundings.
Scone Palace and the Black Watch Castle
After breakfast, enjoy a morning at the local Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings. Knowledgeable guides in each room of the Palace are on hand to tell fascinating stories of the Palace and the ‘Stone of Scone’. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll around the Palace grounds where a variety of walks are offered depending on walking ability and time available. Return to your nearby hotel for an enjoyable lunch, before spending some time at the Black Watch Castle & Museum. The Castle and Museum is recognised as the number one attraction in Perth! The Castle is set in its own beautiful gardens and grounds which can be explored. The Museum is actually the ancestral home of The Black Watch, as it brings this glorious Regiment’s past vibrantly to life. Housed within the museum you will find belongings of the family including uniforms, paintings, medals, photographs, diaries, and weapons.
Return to your hotel for your Taste of Scotland dinner where you will be welcomed with a wee dram. Dinner begins with the piper performing the ‘Address to the Haggis’. After dinner enjoy a night of live Scottish music and song!
Stirling Castle and free afternoon in Perth
After breakfast, travel to Stirling where you may wish to visit Stirling Castle. The Castle is arguably one of Scotland’s grandest due to its imposing position and impressive architecture. Marvel at the scenery as you explore this magnificent Castle. Return back to Perth and spend the remainder of the afternoon with free time exploring this great Scottish City Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.
After breakfast start your journey home.

There is no coach parking on site however there is a pick up and drop off bay outside the hotel. Coach parking is available at Perth Bus Station (charges payable).
