Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh is an exhibition in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the tombs discovery. Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh will transport you to Ancient Egypt where you will accompany Tutankhamun on his journey to the afterlife and quest for immortality.
Over 150 stunning authentic tomb objects. There will be 60 on display outside Egypt for the first time showcasing the spectacular artistry of the boy king’s 3,300 year old treasure and will be sure to dazzle you.

Arrival in London and evening at leisure
Arrive in London during the afternoon. Your room will be ready from around 3.00pm, so if arriving earlier why not do a spot of sightseeing in Central London.
You couldn’t be better placed, with Oxford Street and Regent Street both within an easy walk. The nearest Underground station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel (Tottenham Court Road – Northern Line & Central line) so if you want to explore on your own, that’s not a problem.
We can also suggest some of the more popular attractions such as the London Eye, the Tower of London, a River Cruise on the Thames or a visit to Madame Tussauds – we will be pleased to quote and book tickets, or maybe something a bit different, visit the magnificent Southwark Cathedral.
For the evening, we can arrange dinner in the hotel (supplement on request) or explore on your own – how about a dinner cruise on the River Thames with drinks and entertainment ?

There will be an English breakfast served in the hotel, then its off to the Saatchi Gallery which is situated on the Kings Road in Chelsea (close to Sloane Square) for your timed entrance to the Tutankhamun Exhibition.
After your visit, why not enjoy lunch in one of the cafes, bars or restaurants on the Kings Road before leaving London.

St Giles Hotel, Tottenham Court Road, London ***
This large 3 star hotel is situated on Tottenham Court Road, a minute from its junction with Oxford Street, and within walking distance the British Museum and Covent Garden.
The hotel offers 700 compact but well equipped bedrooms, with ensuite bathroom, TV, tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has lounge areas, three restaurants, bar and Casino. Beneath the hotel there is a large leisure club with indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and well equipped gym, for which there is a small daily charge for use.
There are lifts to all floors, and coach parking is available at the Bayswater Road coach park (charges apply).
Copthorne Hotel, Chelsea ****
Situated adjacent to Chelsea FC, this hotel is a few minutes walk from Fulham Broadway – which has a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. It has easy access to Sloane Square,
The hotel offers 231 good size and well equipped bedrooms, there is a restaurant and bar on site and lift to all floors. Free WiFi available to guests.
There is plenty of on site coach parking available at £55 for an overnight stay.

Tickets for this exhibition are likely to be in high demand, and sell out in advance – We will require a deposit of £30 per person by 1st June 2019. Requests for extensions may be permitted at the discretion of the exhibition producers and will be subject to individual application at this date.
