The three day event is organised and hosted by Flanders Tourism which included a walking chocolate tour, outdoor performance and light show called 'Spectacle Wintervonken' and naturally you cannot visit Belgium and pass on the opportunity to sample a few of their specialist beers.
Here they are again, Zoe and Claire in costume ready for a busy day at the aptly named 'Great Days Out Fair', held at Event City next to the Trafford Centre.
Here we are ready for the Tourism & Events Showcase exhibition, which was held on Saturday 1st February at the Thackray Medical Museum. One good point about this event, being that they hold it at a different venue each year and they also choose venues that are also visitor attractions.
January is a busy month and sees the start of the usual trade exhibitions. Excursions celebrated it's 10th year of exhibiting at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 25th and expanded the venue by moving into the 'Great Hall'.
Here is the Sales & Marketing Team, who all attended the 2nd Greatdays Staff Conference, this year held at the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel in Castleton.
On Thursday 5th December, part of the sales team dressed themselves up to attend the Greatdays Christmas Party event, held at the 4* Queen Hotel (Best Western Premier), to assist the 190 passengers who came to enjoy a day out, with tea/coffee and mince pies on arrival.

Over the course of four days, close to 50,000 industry professionals from up to 200 countries arrive in London to exchange ideas, seek inspiration and – most importantly – conduct business.
On Saturday, Mark from the UK and Ireland Department was lucky enough to be one of the first public visitors to experience the ArcelorMittal Orbit – the new 'must see' tourist attraction in London's East End, and adjoining the Olympic Stadium opening in April 2014.
