Puy du Fou is the second most visited theme park in France and has won several international awards among which the “World’s Best Creation” for the Dernier Panache show which was launched in 2016 and “World’s Best Theme Park” in 2012 and 2014. Founded in 1977, the Park celebrated its 40th anniversaryin 2017 and there are four new and unique attractions planned to acknowledge its desire to faithfully recreate history. A visit will be an unforgettable experience for everyone, with spectacular performances, epic adventures and thrills!
Located in the grounds of a ruined castle, Puy du Fou offers incredible shows, onsite hotels and restaurants and promises an amazing time. The entrance fee includes access to more than 50 hectares, where you will discover a splendid natural park with 20 spectacular shows by day and by night, four authentic villages with their craftsmen and more than 1,500 animals in the heart of a century-old forest. Organs of Fire (Orgues de Feu)
Every evening, on the old lake, nymphs and sprites dance to the music of romantic musicians dressed in illuminated costumes in a fantastic symphony of fire and water. The lake provides a wonderful background to this love story set on the water. A favourite of may, there will be approximately 100 shows in 2017.
Le Grand Carillon
Brand new for 2017! “Le Grand Carillon” is a truly unique musical performance that will take you back in time. In the heart of the Village XVIIIème, performed 16 meters from the floor, the bell ringers flit between 70 giant bells recreating some of the most celebrated pieces of music: a spectacular feat of melody and choreography!
The Secrets of the Lance (Le Secret de la Lance)
A spectacular medieval adventure inspired by the legend of a mysterious lance with magical powers, you will be amazed by the power and rhythm of the knights’ horseback stunts in this epic show. Part of the program since 2010, you will watch the young shepherdess defend her keep from the knights.
The Sign of Triumph (Le Signe du Triomphe)
In the super-charged atmosphere of the Gallo-Roman stadium, relive the fury of the circus games. Set in a replica of an amphitheatre, it features both people and animals, gladiatorial combat, chariot racing and executions.
Richelieu's Musketeers (Mousquetaire de Richelieu)
Experience the romantic adventures of Richelieu’s Musketeer’s, set against the backdrop of a monumental 17th century theatre (covered theatre with 3,000 seats). The only show staged indoors, you will experience a magical show with capes, sword fights, flamenco ballets and incredible special effects!
The Vikings (Les Vikings)
At the foot of the keep, tremble at the sight of these Northern warriors launching their attack on their terrifying drakkars. Emerging from amid the flames in their longboats, fearsome Vikings attack the peaceful Fort de l’An Mil. At the foot of the watch tower, battle rages with an amazing display of special effects.
The Last Panache (Le Dernier Panache)
At the heart of the French revolution, follow the glorious destiny of a French naval officer, a hero from the American War of Independence, whose life will change dramatically in 1793, in a last fight for freedom!
The Dance of the Phantom Birds (Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes)
In the ruins of the old castle, let yourself be swept away by the unforgettable aerial ballet of the birds. Set to a mysterious story, the birds swoop around the audience from all sides creating a memorable atmosphere.

Clovis Island (Les Îles de Clovis)
Experience a dream night on water! Spend a night in this original hotel surrounded by water entirely built on stilts in a natural setting over an area of seven hectares. Bookings for Puy du Fou are open from October for the subsequent year’s programme. Refundable deposits of 20% will be required to secure space and are due within 2 weeks of confirmation (these are refundable until approximately 11 weeks prior to travel). Please note, it is not possible to stay on two consecutive nights when La Cinéscénie is on (most Friday and Saturdays in June, July, August and September). Please note that tickets for La Cinéscénie sell out extremely quickly and we do not recommend booking a tour that includes this.
