Cruise the World is a Big Summer Hit!

Ahoy there Shipmates!

In June we launched our brand new entertainment lunch show for 2017 “Cruise the World” across the country.  Our fantasy cruise liner set sail from Maidstone, Blackburn, Chester and Bristol for a fun packed afternoon filled with song, laughter and dancing.  Guests enjoyed the odd game of “deck Quoits”, we still aren’t quite sure what the rules are though!  Tables widely debated the answers to our popular music quiz.  The top score is 9 out of 10 so we are waiting for someone to knock them off the top spot!  Judging our best dressed competition was a cause of much hilarity. We chose from cut throat Pirates, Popeye the Sailor, (complete with can of spinach) and the most original of all, the floating voter from the W.I.  All our winners went home with a bottle of bubbly and a smile!

Cruise across the Atlantic

After a delicious 3 course lunch, many groups were ready to take to the dance floor to some well loved tunes from South America before heading to the Mediterranean coast for some Italian classics sung by our native Italian First Officer Zanobini.  Each event ended with a rousing sing along before “disembarking” for the journey home.
