Celebrate Christmas on a cruise along the River Seine. Admire the winter landscapes and riverside illuminations as you sail along stopping at the medieval city of Rouen and the maritime town on Honfleur. There will be optional excursion possibilities to Martainville Château and a guided tour of Rouen plus the option to attend a Christmas Mass in a local church. What a unique way to celebrate the festive season.

Suggested itinerary
Day 1
Depart the UK
Take the ferry from Dover to Calais or Dunkerque and continue to Paris in time for embarkation from 17.00 hours. Settle into your cabin and enjoy a welcome cocktail with your fellow passengers before dinner and the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 2
Les Andelys – Rouen (Christmas Eve)
This morning, relax and enjoy the facilities of the ship whilst cruising along the Seine to arrive at Les Andelys in the afternoon. There is an optional excursion to Martainville Château, built in the 15th century and now a Museum of Norman History, Tradition and Art.
Back on board, this evening we will have a Special Christmas Eve dinner and you will also be invited to attend Midnight mass in a nearby local church (note: Mass will be held in French and location will be confirmed at the time)
Day 3
Rouen – Honfleur – Rouen (Christmas Day)
Our cruise continues to Honfleur where we celebrate Christmas Day with fellow guests. Join us for an included guided walking tour of Honfleur, the most picturesque of the fishing ports and stroll around the alleyways with old houses. See the 17th century Salt Halls and St. Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France.
Enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner on board whilst the ship sails towards Rouen.
Day 4
Rouen (Boxing Day)
There is the opportunity to join an optional guided tour of Rouen. Discover the wonderful gothic Cathédral Notre-Dame de Rouen which has the highest spire in France, see the Gros Horloge, a famous 14th century astronomical clock and Vieux-Marché square where Joan of Arc was burned and the St. Joan of Arc Church.
Back on board ship, the afternoon will be spent cruising to Paris along the Seine, with a Gala Dinner this evening.
Day 5
Disembark in Paris – Return to the UK
The ship will arrive early into Paris this morning. After breakfast, disembark and head for Calais to take the ferry across to Dover, and home.
MS Seine Princess (or similar standard ship)
The MS Seine Princess sails along the River Seine which boasts splendid and contrasting landscapes; and in particular inspired the greatest impressionist painters.
The ship measures 110 metres long and 11,40 metres wide. It can accommodate 138 passengers, in 67 cabins spread over two decks. Single occupancy cabins, without supplement, can be requested subject to availability. The size of each cabin is 12,50 m2 (apart from two suites, with a surface of 18 m2 and 20 m2). All cabins offer a variety of amenities and provide guests with all the comforts they need during their stay.
The tasteful decoration and the atmosphere, both elegant, warm and friendly; are in perfect harmony with its environment. Located on the upper deck, the restaurant offers superb French cuisine in a refined setting, where large bay windows allow you to take full advantage of the panorama. Also situated on the upper deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor. On the sun deck, an ideal place to relax and admire the landscapes, guests can enjoy comfortable sun loungers, as well as a large shaded area.
Cabin information/facilities (CroisiEurope)
All cabins are located above the water level and offer panoramic views of the landscape. They are equipped with private toilet, shower, washbasin and towels. Cabins are comfortable and include Satellite TV, hairdryer, safe and storage space. Depending on the ship, cabins have twin beds, a large bed or 2 separable beds. Voltage on board is 220V. All cabins are air conditioned and have independent thermostat controlled heating and air conditioning. The size and configuration of cabins vary from ship to ship. Some have cabins which are specifically equipped for people with reduced mobility (please ask for further details). There is free Wi-Fi throughout the ship.
Deposit and Payment Guidelines
