Travel to your hotel
We arrive at the Double Tree by Hilton Majestic Hotel and Spa this afternoon. Why not make the most of the hotel’s leisure facilities or unwind in the Fredericks bar lounge?
This evening, we get ready for a fantastic night of entertainment by our talented duo. Our pianist Chris will entertain us with a selection of traditional tunes, creating the perfect festive atmosphere encouraging everyone onto the dance floor. It’s sure to be a wonderful end to the evening!
Programme:
6.30pm: Welcome drink reception
7.30pm: 4 course Gala dinner followed by tea or coffee
8.00pm: Enjoy the first half of the entertainment
8.45pm: Music Interval
9.15pm: Enjoy the second half of the entertainment

Suggested itinerary prior to arrival at the hotel: We suggest stopping in York to experience its famous Christmas Markets. The city’s beautiful festive decorations create a magical backdrop, while the historic streets are filled with seasonal gift stalls and inviting eateries. With its charming atmosphere and wide variety of festive attractions, York is an ideal destination for a group visit during the Christmas season.

Free day and RHS Harlow Carr Glow
After our hot and cold buffet breakfast, we are free to explore. We could take a stroll through Valley Gardens, browse the town’s independent shops and boutiques or perhaps relax with a cup of tea and a slice of cake at the famous Betty’s Café Tea Rooms. The famous vanilla slice is always a popular choice.
We continue the festivities with a visit to RHS Harlow Carr for their Glow event. Discover a ‘world of light’ as trees and plants are illuminated in vibrant colours. Gentle music plays throughout your visit to create a mystical atmosphere. Spectacular light installations throughout the gardens provide the perfect backdrop for memorable photographs.
On our return to the hotel, the Chef will have prepared our 3 course dinner with tea and coffee bringing our festive short break to a wonderful close.
