Three Cruises and a Castle

Once again, Gina from our Sales Team has been out and about.  This time to the South East of England on a familiarisation trip hosted by Tourism South East which also included a networking event with regional attractions and providers from around the region of the River Thames between Oxford and Windsor.

During a jam-packed 2 days, visits were made to The Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park followed by a cruise along the Thames at Windsor, Henley-on-Thames (Midsomer Murders Country) including the River & Rowing Museum and a cruise along the course of the famous Henley Regatta, and also to Oxford with a guided tour of Oxford Castle Unlocked (a former prison until quite recently) and a cruise from Oxford to Sandford Lock, once again along the Thames.  Greatdays already feature tours which include some of these river cruises, locations and attractions and also the hotels where she stayed (Hilton Hotel, Reading and the Millennium Madjeski Reading).

Reading really is a great base for a whole host of tours in this region and we can suggest some alternative attractions to enhance your tour.
