Sensational Switzerland

Working at Greatdays we often have visitors from across the UK as well as the rest of the world. Here in the European Operations Department, this past week we’ve had visitors from the Jungfrau region located in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. Representatives from the area’s marketing board and hotels across the region visited our office in Altrincham to present the beautiful Alpine resort. Pete and Britta, responsible for our Swiss tours, learnt about the charming traditional places such as Interlaken and Grindelwald, tranquil towns with gorgeous views and delicious cuisine. Attractions in the region include stunning cable car and funicular journeys up the many surrounding peaks, fascinating caves and tumbling waterfalls. Visitors can also take part in cuisine-based tours of local towns. Also, did you know that that both Sherlock Holmes and James Bond have visited the region – onscreen at least! It is a fascinating area with much to explore, amazing views and wonderful places to stay.
