Find the perfect tour to Austria & Switzerland for your group
Greatdays Group Travel’s European team are experts in helping you book and get the most out of your tour to Switzerland for you and your group.
Soaring mountains, crystal clear lakes, beautiful Alpine valleys…..we can only be talking about Austria and Switzerland. Some of the best scenery in Europe is waiting for you, whether it be the lakes and mountains around Salzburg such as lakes Mondsee, Attersee and Wolfgangsee or the Ziller and Pinzgau valleys of the Alps. Along with this stunning scenery, there are great excursions to be had. One of our most popular is the Little Trains and Boats itinerary with the Ziller Valley and Railway and the cruise on Lake Achensee.Read more
A visit to Innsbruck with the famous Swarovski Crystal World is also possible. From St Anton you can visit Lake Constance, cross the border into Germany and visit Bavaria and travel the Silvretta Alpine Road. New for 2017 is a Croisi-Europe Danube River Cruise taking in the highlights of not only Vienna and Melk in Austria, but Budapest and Bratislava.
Access to Austria is easy by coach with one overnight stop each way or you can fly into many airports including Munich which often has better flight options and can be the cheaper alternative.
In Switzerland we concentrate on our tried and tested group tours including Lake Geneva, Lakes and Mountains Explorer and the Glacier Express. Our Glacier Express tour is two-centre staying in both the Interlaken and Davos areas. Transfer between the two is via this great train journey on one of the most dramatic train routes through Switzerland.
Our Lake Geneva tour has some fantastic excursions including a tour of the lake itself on which a cruise can be taken to visit Chateau Chillon, a day to Gruyeres to taste the famous cheese and Broc to visit the Nestle chocolate factory. Our Lakes and Mountains tour is another two-centre tour combining the majestic Bernese-Oberland region together with the scenic Appenzell region near Lake Constance.
Again access to Switzerland is easy with an overnight each way or with flights from many UK airports into Switzerland. Why not make the trip extra special and operate it by train. Over the years our Lake Geneva tour has been very successful by train staying overnight in Paris en-route.
