Law

“If the law supposes that then the law is an ass.”

If you want to pique the interests of your students in law and the legal system then send them on a well-designed field trip to engage and develop there knowledge and understanding. Trips to a courthouse, jail, police station and law offices are a few of the suggestions that schools have requested over the years. The Hague’s International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court are a big attraction for International Law students and it is possible to visit a public court session on a first come first served basis although places are limited and advanced warning is necessary. You could also do a guided tour of the Peace Palace, a beautiful building, which is open on weekdays only and must be reserved in advance.
