We step back in time to 1485 at the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and take a walking tour of Leicester. Enjoy some free time in the city and visit the famous clock tower or visit the well known covered market. Shopaholics can enjoy some retail therapy at the city’s modern shopping centre.

Enjoy a relaxing journey to Leicestershire. In the afternoon we visit the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre.
Leicester walking tour, King Richard III Visitor Centre & Leicester Cathedral
This morning we meet our Blue Badge Tourist Guide for a 90-minute walking tour of Leicester’s historic city centre. We start at Leicester Cathedral where King Richard III is interred. We visit the King Richard III Visitor Centre where the remarkable story of the search for the king is told. The centre is built over the actual location in the council car park where the remains were found. There’s free time to explore the city centre and have lunch. See the famous Clock Tower, wander through Leicester’s famous covered market (check out the fruit displays in the Food Market if possible), and visit Highcross Leicester, the city’s modern shopping centre.
We return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.
