Day 2
Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and Hythe
Another treat today with a return journey on the diminutive narrow gauge Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway that runs for 14 miles between Hythe and Dungeness. A free afternoon in the historic cinque port of Hythe gives you chance to explore this fascinating old town.
Day 3
Historic Dockyard Chatham and ‘Call the Midwife’ tour
Today we head for the Historic Dockyard Chatham, an 80-acre site that was home to Britain’s naval ship building industry. During your visit you’ll discover how ships, including Nelson’s flagship ‘HMS Victory’, were designed and built and you’ll be able to climb aboard a destroyer and a submarine. The highlight of the visit will be the ‘Call the Midwife’ tour that reveals what it was like to be an extra on the set of the popular BBC series, and how the Dockyard was transformed into a scene from the 1950s.
Day 4
Margate and Canterbury
This morning we visit the traditional seaside town of Margate and the ‘Old Town’, with its many vintage shops. In the afternoon, we travel to Canterbury where you can visit the magnificent cathedral and explore the picturesque streets.

Return home
