Day 1
Travel to South Wales

Day 2
Cardiff
This morning, we enjoy a walking tour of Cardiff followed by a guided tour of Cardiff Castle.
This afternoon, after some free time for lunch, we take a boat trip around Cardiff Bay & the City. There will be on board recorded commentary, which gives fascinating information about the history of the area, buildings along the route, the barrage and the wildlife on the Bay and river.
Day 3
The Royal Mint Experience and Hensol Castle Distillery
This morning, we head to the new Royal Mint Experience to see how more than two billion coins from the UK and across the world are produced each year. The visit includes a guided factory tour and free time in the interactive exhibition.
This afternoon, we take the short journey to Hensol Castle & Distillery for a guided tour, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their traditional copper still, the distillation process, and the rich history of spirits production within the walls of Hensol Castle.
Day 4
St Fagans National History Museum & Caerphilly Castle
This morning, we visit St Fagans National History Museum, Wales’ most popular heritage attraction. This open-air museum chronicles the historical lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the Welsh people. More than 40 original buildings from different historical periods have been re-erected in the 100-acre parkland.
A short drive away is Caerphilly. We visit the imposing 13th century medieval castle, which has a tower which leans more than Pisa’s.
