Day 1
Travel to Bristol
Travel to your hotel with plenty of time to check into your bedroom and relax, before dinner this evening.
Day 2
American Museum & Bath Christmas Markets
This morning we journey to Bath. Our first visit is to American Museum where we will find fascinating American stories, textiles, decorative art and design, acres of wildlife-friendly gardens and a deli with spectacular valley views. There are exciting exhibitions, events and activities for all, including a children’s play area. Celebrating the vast diversity of America’s people and their stories, and the many cultures that shape this richly layered country, reflected in its awe-inspiring decorative arts.
This afternoon, there is free time to enjoy the Bath Christmas Markets.
Return to our hotel to relax before dinner.
Day 3
Bristol Christmas Markets & SS Great Britain
This morning we take a route through the Avon Gorge to see Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge and then on to another of his masterpieces, the SS Great Britain. Launched in Bristol in 1843, this was the world’s first ocean-going, propeller-driven, iron ship. The historic vessel is now conserved with the hull protected by a ‘glass sea’. Visitors can experience what life was like for the ship’s Victorian passengers and crew. We then travel into the city centre where there’s free time to explore the city centre, including the Christmas Markets, and Bristol’s famous Harbourside before returning to our hotel for dinner.

Return home
Last chance to enjoy the hotels leisure facilities and a leisurely breakfast before departing.
