Bantry Bay and Garnish Island
Bantry is a thriving market town situated at the head of Bantry Bay and surrounded by some of Ireland’s most stunning countryside. A must-see is Garnish Island – a small island garden located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay, known to horticulturists and lovers of trees and shrubs around the world. Visit Bantry House and Gardens, one of Ireland’s hidden gems, with stunning views over Bantry Bay.
West Cork Coast Road and Kinsale
After a hearty Irish breakfast, see some of the picturesque towns and villages and stunning coastal scenery along Cork’s coast road. Travel past pretty beaches and charming coastal villages to the picturesque harbour town of Kinsale, widely regarded as the gourmet centre of the south. Continue onto the City of Cork, Ireland’s third largest, where you can see the English Market, the Huguenot Quarter and St. Finbarr’s Cathedral.
Killarney and the Ring of Kerry
Today, enjoy a day’s excursion to Killarney and the famous ‘Ring of Kerry’. Enjoy a brief visit to the vibrant town of Killarney then join your specialist guide and travel from Killarney to Killorgin, Glenbeigh and Caherciveen, Waterville and Sneem, finishing at Kenmare before returning to Bantry Bay in time for dinner.
