Discover the island’s unique charm as you explore the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels, visit La Mare Wine Estate and wander through the beautiful Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor.Your experience also includes a delightful afternoon tea at the beautiful St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, with time to relax and enjoy the stunning coastal setting.
Depending on your journey and the ferry timetable, an overnight stay near Bournemouth may be required on both your outward and return journeys.

Day 1
Travel to Jersey
Travel to Poole by coach, then by ferry to St Helier or fly from your local airport. On arrival in Jersey you’ll be met by coach for the transfer to your hotel.
Day 2
Island Tour
Begin your Jersey discovery with a full-day tour, exploring some of the island’s most spectacular coastal scenery and beautiful bays, including St Ouen’s and St Brelade’s.
Along the way, we’ll take in some of Jersey’s most fascinating landmarks, from the iconic Corbière Lighthouse and historic Elizabeth Castle to the remarkable St Matthew’s Church, famed for its beautiful Lalique glass. We’ll also visit picturesque villages, including the charming harbour village of St Aubin, with plenty of opportunities to admire Jersey’s unique character and scenery.
Day 3
Wartime Tunnels and La Mare Wine
This morning, we take a fascinating and moving journey through Jersey’s five years of German occupation during the Second World War at the Jersey War Tunnels, a remarkable network of underground tunnels that served as a military hospital during the occupation.
This afternoon, we visit La Mare Wine Estate, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour and tasting, discovering more about the estate and its locally produced wines and specialities. Coach transfers are included.
Day 4
Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor and Afternoon Tea in St Brelade’s Bay
Created in the 1920s, the Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor provide a beautiful setting for a leisurely morning visit. Wander through the gardens and enjoy the wonderful array of colours, scents and seasonal planting. There is also the option to explore the historic Manor House and Rural Life Museum.
This afternoon, we indulge in a delightful afternoon tea at the luxurious St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, where we can relax and enjoy the elegant surroundings. Coach transfers are included throughout.
Day 5
Return home
Say farewell to your hosts and sail back to Poole to meet your main coach.

- La Hougue Bie Museum – One of the ten oldest buildings in the world, La Hougue Bie is the burial site of Jersey’s Neolithic community and home to the biggest Celtic coin hoard ever discovered.
- Maritime Museum & Occupation Tapestry – Enjoy interactive exhibits, understand the tides and learn how to build a ship at St Helier’s historic harbour. Visit the award winning Occupation Tapestry, stitched by Jersey volunteers.
- Jersey Lavender – One of the island’s best loved attractions, soak up the sights and scents of nature in the sunny gardens, shady woods and nine acres of intoxicating lavender fields, and learn about the remarkable processing of lavender (open until 25th September).
- Steam, Motor and General Museum – Take a step back in time and enjoy the vast and varied collection including steam locos & engines, military & classic vehicles, bicycles and toys, all housed within this absorbing museum.
