A mini cruise to Holland is a wonderful way to welcome the spring! At this time of year, the Dutch bulbfields are ablaze with flowering tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and a host of other spring flowers.
This April, for the 5th year, Greatdays will host our successful 3 day mini-cruise to the Dutch Bulbfields at the world famous Keukenhof Gardens. Unsurprisingly, this trip is a firm favourite with Greatdays’ clients. This is a wonderful, leisurely way to travel to Holland.
Visit the world famous Keukenhof gardens, one of the world’s finest bulbfield and flower parks. Each year the Dutch bulb growing industry stage their annual petal spectacular. Keukenhof Flower Gardens was once a modest kitchen and herb garden for the Dutch Royal House. Today, however, each year between March and May, seven million bulbs planted across the park’s 70 acres burst into bloom. Visitors enjoy a spectacular rainbow carpet of flowers. For over 50 years, Keukenhof has been displaying its floral art with a different theme each year and a fresh look every day. The park has easy walking with flat paths and several restaurants.
In our exclusive package, make your own way to the port at Hull, where you will be met by Greatdays’ staff for your relaxing overnight cruise from Hull to Rotterdam with P&O Ferries. On board, enjoy an extensive buffet dinner and breakfast. Furthermore, the journey across is complete with evening entertainment with a great atmosphere in the café and bar.
The following day, board our private coach for transfers from the port in Rotterdam to Keukenhof Gardens. Here you will have until mid afternoon to explore the charming gardens and flower displays. What’s more, a €5.00 voucher per person is included for use at one of the many cafés in the park for you to enjoy a cup of coffee or cake. In the evening, board the return overnight sailing back to Hull, with dinner and breakfast again included onboard.
Treat yourself to a splash of colour and embrace nature’s beauty. Whether you are a novice or green-fingered gardening God, this is a wonderful trip. The vibrant gardens are a delight to behold. A visit is a lovely way to celebrate nature and welcome the coming summer. There are only a few places remaining on this year’s Dutch Bulbfields Mini-Cruise, with no minimum numbers required for groups or individuals, click here to book now to avoid disappointment!
