Enjoy the Edinburgh Christmas celebrations which start in late November and run until Christmas Eve. With the official switch-on of the Christmas lights the whole city gets into the swing of things. The city has an entire month packed with spectacular events, performances, fairground rides, and of course the Edinburgh Christmas Markets.

Day 1
Travel to Edinburgh
Travel to Edinburgh and check into your centrally located hotel. Plenty of choice for dinner in the many restaurants in the surrounding area, or why not enjoy the German cuisine at one of the stalls on the market and really soak up the atmosphere.
Day 2
Christmas Markets
Today explore Edinburgh’s fantastic Christmas markets! The festivities spread from St Andrew Square to East Princes St Gardens, George Street and Festival Square. With shows in the new Festival Square Theatre, as well as ice skating, markets and rides, including the Big Wheel and the 60-metre Star Flyer, with breath-taking views over the city. Plus the Street of Light illuminates Edinburgh with a stunning light display set to music from celebrated local choirs and performers. Enjoy the unique Christmas shopping experience and pick up some gifts from the European and Scottish markets with its fair of crafters, artists, gift shops and gastronomic surprises.
Day 3
Depart Edinburgh
Before you depart Edinburgh why not visit one of its wonderful attractions. Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Royal Yacht Britannia are some of our favourites! (supplement on request).
