Here you will be given a tour of the distillery, a tasting, and free time in the town of Pitlochry. We also travel to the fascinating Highland Folk Museum as well as the UK’s highest railway, the Cairngorm Mountain Railway.

Day 1
Travel to Perth, Scotland
Travel to your hotel in Perth with time to relax before dinner.
Day 2
Blair Castle and Whisky Tasting
In the morning, visit Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, and enjoy one of Scotland’s finest settings in the heart of Highland Perthshire. With its roots in the 13th century, Blair Castle’s history extends over some 740 years. In the afternoon, visit Dewar’s World of Whisky, where you will enjoy a distillery and warehouse tour and get to taste the Whisky. Return to your hotel with time to relax before dinner.
Day 3
Free time in Perth, Pitlochry and the Enchanted Forest
Spend the morning in Perth, you may wish to visit the Black Watch museum and castle. Return to your hotel for lunch. After lunch we will enjoy free time in Pitlochry, taking in the clear sparkling air, beautiful scenery, restaurants, shops and museums. In the early evening, you will visit Faskally Wood for the award winning Enchanted Forest show. With dazzling visuals and innovative design set against an original music score, explore the stunning autumn woodland setting of the Enchanted Forest (this excursion involves walking).
Day 4
Highland Folk Museum and Cairngorm Reindeer Herd
In the morning we travel to the Highland Folk Museum, a one mile long, 80-acre site, with live actors and restored buildings that help bring Highland history to life. In the afternoon we stop and meet the Cairngorm’s famous reindeers. Our trip includes the reindeer exhibition and a paddock visit with a hand feeding demonstration.
Day 5
Return home
After a hearty Scottish Breakfast, start your journey home. Why not stop off at the Scottish borders or Lake District and marvel at the scenery on offer during your journey.

A historic building situated in Perth centre, the award-winning Salutation Hotel has a perfect location whilst offering scenic walks around the River Tay. The hotel has a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi in all public areas. All bedrooms have a TV, tea/coffee facilities and a telephone. There is no coach parking on site however there is a pick up and drop off bay outside the hotel. Coach parking is available at Perth Bus Station (charges payable).

There is no lift at the hotel, however there are a number of rooms accessible by a small amount of stairs. There is no coach parking on site however pick up and drop off is possible.
