RHS Hyde Hall, The Beth Chatto Gardens and Colchester.
On this tour we explore the eclectic gardens of RHS Hyde Hall. Originally a farm, the site was gifted to the RHS 25 years ago and now showcases treasures such as the Mediterranean inspired Dry Garden and Global Growth Vegetable Garden. We also call into The Beth Chatto Gardens, created by the legendary gardener, author and lecturer. Our hotel is located near the historic market town of Colchester.

Sunday
The Beth Chatto Gardens and travel to your hotel
On Sunday afternoon we travel to The Beth Chatto Gardens where we can stroll around and admire the various gardens she created over seven acres of land. Alternatively your group may wish to visit 17th century Audley End House and Gardens. There is time to relax in the hotel before dinner. Beth Chatto guided tours are only available mid week.
Monday
RHS Hyde Hall and return home
This morning we enjoy a full English breakfast before departing the hotel. The RHS Garden Hyde Hall is a peaceful garden and a perfect destination for groups; the beautiful hilltop garden, rose garden, woodland, meadows and pasture are all available to explore. We will enjoy a hot drink, a guided garden tour and lunch before returning home.
