Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Travel to Scotland

If you’re travelling a distance, ask about overnight stops.

Day 2

Highland Safari and Dewar’s Distillery.

In the morning, we visit the nearby Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery for a tour and a tasting. In the afternoon, venture into the hills today on our Highland Safari. We transfer to four-wheel-drive vehicles (carrying approximately six people in each) for a one-and-a-half-hour journey to the high tops, travelling through forests, mountains and moors on private hill tracks with spectacular views at every turn. This is a great opportunity to engage with the wonders of the natural environment and experience the excitement of a 4WD safari into the hills to heights of nearly 2,000 feet. Binoculars, wildlife identification sheets and hand-warmers are provided.

Day 3

Blair Castle and Free Time in Pitlochry.

This morning, we travel through the Pass of Killiecrankie, an impressive wooded gorge, to Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. We can arrange lunch at the castle before returning to Pitlochry for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 4

Highland Folk Museum and Cairngorm Mountain Railway.

In the morning, we travel to the Highland Folk Museum, a one mile long, 80-acre site, with live actors and restored buildings that help bring Highland history to life. In the afternoon, we take a ride on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway. Admire the views from the mountain-top cafe and viewing platform.

Day 5

Return home

This tour operates from April to October, and in all weathers.
