County Wicklow is known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’. Nestled amongst the lush rolling hills are pretty little glens, cascading waterfalls, glassy lakes and intimate villages. Our tour contrasts with the hustle and bustle of Dublin city and its surrounding gardens.

Day 1

Depart the UK

Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

The ‘Garden of Ireland’ and Powerscourt Gardens

Explore beautiful County Wicklow. See Glendalough, and enjoy stunning scenic views of Wicklow’s countryside and the two Blessington Lakes. Powerscourt House & Gardens is one of the most beautiful estates in Ireland.

Day 3

National Botanical Gardens and Dublin

Morning visit to the National Botanical in Glasnevin founded in 1795 now home to over 15,000 plant species. During the afternoon, enjoy free time in Dublin or take an optional city tour.

Day 4

Mount Usher Gardens and Killruddery

This morning, enjoy a visit to the stunning gardens and shops of Mount Usher, which is amongst Ireland’s most treasured gardens by both professionals and the wider public. Later, visit Killruddery House and Gardens. Nature has never been more relaxing with leisurely walks in one of Ireland’s most renowned gardens.

Day 5

Malahide Castle & Gardens and Dublin Bay Cruise

Morning visit to Malahide Castle and Gardens, built in the 12th century and set in 250 acres with a stunning walled garden. Afternoon we enjoy a Dublin Bay cruise from the pretty fishing village of Howth.

Day 6

Return to the UK

After an early breakfast, take the ferry and return home.
