Killarney is Ireland’s oldest and still the most popular tourist destination. A bustling town full of character and activity, in an area home to many attractions, from the rugged grandeur of the mountains to the historic castles, stately homes and ancient woodlands of Killarney National Park.

Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Depart the UK

Take the afternoon ferry crossing from Holyhead to Dublin, then a short drive to your hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

Killarney and Newbridge Silverware

Travel South West to Killarney, en-route we visit Newbridge Silverware with is Style Icons Museum and the heritage village of Adare.

Day 3

Ring of Kerry

Today, enjoy a day excursion around the famous ‘Ring of Kerry’ with a specialist guide. Travel from via Killorglin, with en-route visit to the Skellig Heritage Centre and Derrynane House, finishing at the colourful fishing town of Kenmare before travelling back to Killarney. Along the way you will experience the captivating beauty and breathtaking scenery that makes up this unmissable area of Ireland.

Day 4

Killarney, Jaunting Car Trip and Muckross House

(Coach driver’s rest day)

Enjoy a morning at leisure in Killarney. In the afternoon, take a jaunting car to Muckross House & Gardens. The jewel of Killarney National Park, Muckross House & Gardens is a must-see. Features of Muckross Gardens includes a fine collection of Rhododendrons, a Sunken Garden, a Rock Garden and a Stream Garden.

Day 5

Dingle Peninsula and Harbour Cruise

Travel to Dingle town where we take a boat trip to spot Fungi, the resident dolphin. After a fish and chip lunch we continue onto the rugged and windswept Dingle Peninsula, whose western tip is the most westerly point in the whole of Ireland. Take in the varied and striking scenery, see the Dingle lighthouse.

Day 6

Dublin

We make our way to Dublin for our final night.

Day 7

Return to the UK

After an early breakfast, take the ferry and return home.

This 3 star hotel is located on Muckross Road just outside Killarney town centre.  The hotel operate a shuttle bus into the town centre. Hotel facilities include two restaurants, bar, lounge area, leisure facilities including indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, tennis courts, squash courts, snooker tables and golf course. All rooms are en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, TV, tea & coffee making facilities. Coach Parking is available onsite. The hotel has a lift and offers nightly entertainment.

Eviston House Hotel ***

Located in the heart of Killarney, this family run hotel boasts a convenient location and the atmospheric Danny Mann pub on site. Bedrooms are spacious with tea & coffee facilities, power showers and also offer free wifi. There is also a small fitness suite available for guests to use. Hotel has a lift but no onsite coach parking – local coach parking available at a small charge. For a small supplement enjoy an Irish themed menu and entertainment in the Danny Mann pub, ask us for further information!
