Saturday
PieFest
Today we keep our eyes on the pies! PieFest is located in the undercover Exhibition Halls of the Livestock Market in Melton Mowbray. Here you’ll find a variety of sweet and savoury, hot and cold pies, including award-winning pies from across the UK. Pie tastings run alongside workshops on how to make the perfect pie, plus an expert ‘Pie Panel’ can answer your pie-related queries. Also up for grabs are cakes, cider, cheese, wine and chutneys.
Once you have had your ‘fill’ of the festival why not take a short stroll around Melton’s town centre and the grounds of their renowned parish church before returning home with any treats purchased at the festival.
