This tour combines a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, and including a relaxing river cruise, with a full-day tour of the picturesque Cotswolds including Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-in-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway. We also discover Tudor Warwick at Lord Leycester Hospital and St Mary’s Church before
visiting the magnificent Warwick Castle.

Day 1
Travel to your hotel
Day 2
Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s family homes and River Cruise
This morning, we visit Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s Birthplace, a timber-framed townhouse in the centre of the town. A short journey away by coach is the childhood home of Mrs Shakespeare, the world-famous Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. We then join our boat for a relaxing afternoon sightseeing cruise on the River Avon.
Day 3
Tour of the Cotswolds
Today, we take one of the classic English tours around the villages and small market towns of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Our route is likely to include Shipston-on-Stour, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and the ‘Little Venice’ of the Cotswolds.
Day 4
Lord Leycester Hospital, St Mary’s Church and Warwick Castle
Today, we take a guided tour of Lord Leycester Hospital, a historic group of medieval timber-framed buildings. We then take a short stroll to St Mary’s Church, known for the stunning medieval Beauchamp Chapel. Warwick Castle offers a remarkable choice of things to do. Take a tour through the beautiful grand interiors to see the magnificent Great Hall and the lavish state rooms.

Return Home.
