Friday
Travel to your hotel in Central London
Aim to arrive at the hotel during the afternoon, and check in. If you arrive early, why not take a walk around Russell Square or pop into the British Museum – only a few minutes away. We can arrange an optional three course set dinner in the hotel restaurant. However, there are several restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so you’ll be spoilt for choice outside the hotel.
After dinner retire to the hotel bar, or alternatively visit one of the many bars and pubs in the area – there are plenty to choose from.
Saturday
Group walking tour and free time
An English breakfast will be served in the restaurant, meet with your personal blue badge guide in the lobby who will take you on a fascinating 3 hour walking tour of the Bloomsbury area
This afternoon you are free to continue your visit, and we have lots of suggestions. This evening we can offer you a choice of visits – an evening at the theatre or maybe a dinner cruise on the Thames.
There is also the option of dinner in the hotel this evening.
Sunday
Return Home – time for some last minute sightseeing
An English breakfast in the hotel this morning, and if you don’t have to rush off, how about a trip on the River Thames – with live commentary or maybe a trip on the London Eye.
President Hotel ***
Large hotel situated in Bloomsbury offers refurbished double, twin and single comfortable rooms with bath & shower. Rooms are with Tea and coffee making, TV and hairdryer .
The hotel offers the Atrium Bar and restaurant with an all day dining menu, and free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Lifts available.
The hotel is only a short walk from Russell Square underground station and within walking distance of Covent Garden, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
Tavistock Hotel ***
Overlooking Tavistock Square Gardens, the Art Deco style hotel has a large bar and lounge area, and “Poppadom Indian Kitchen” offering a good selection of Indian food (Tuesday to Saturday)
The bedrooms are well furnished, and bathrooms are with bath & shower. All rooms have tea/coffee making and television.
There is a lift to all floors and free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel offers single, double and twin rooms, and family rooms are also available.
This tour is available for groups minimum 20 persons.
