Suggested itinerary by coach

Day 1

Travel to North Wales

Start the trip with a suggested stop-off at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Llangollen or Bodelwyddan Castle on the way. Once at the hotel we will enjoy a tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Enjoy a three-course meal including an option if a roast dinner followed by live entertainment*

*Itinerary to be confirmed.

Day 2

Llandudno and Conwy

This morning we spend time in the pretty seaside town of Llandudno. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore and long pier to stroll down.  During the afternoon visit the pretty harbour town of Conwy with its imposing castle, meander through the quaint streets before heading back to the hotel to relax before dinner and bingo/quiz evening*

*Itinerary to be confirmed.

Day 3

Caernarfon Castle

This morning we travel a short distance to Caernarfon Castle. Caernarfon Castle is a fortress-palace on the banks of the River Seiont, begun in 1283 for King Edward I of England as the administrative headquarters of his newly conquered north Wales. It was designed by the master mason James of St George, whose polygonal towers and banded masonry were modelled — deliberately — on the walls of Constantinople.

In the afternoon, we return to the hotel for a cream tea with tea and coffee.*

Enjoy a three-course meal in the restaurant followed by live entertainment*

*Itinerary to be confirmed.

Day 4

Portmeirion

This morning, we visit Portmeirion Village. One of our favourite villages, Portmeirion comes highly recommended. Created by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975, the unique and altogether magnificent Italianate village of Portmeirion combines spectacular gardens and architectural surprises at every turn.
In the afternoon, we take a short drive to Porthmadog to spend time in this small town with shops selling Portmeirion tablewares or to relax in a cafe for a sit down with a cuppa.
On our final evening, we enjoy a three-course meal in the restaurant.

Day 5

Return home and Trefriw Woollen Mills

After our breakfast, we then call in at the family-run Trefriw Woollen Mills where there’s an opportunity to buy traditional Welsh woollens and other locally crafted souvenirs before travelling home.
