27th October 2026

Wow, Greatdays’ Chairman and founder, John Beaumont, reaches his 90th birthday and visits the Greatdays team in the Altrincham office!

FYI – History – John was previously joint owner of Shearings Holidays with his friend Don Jackson. Together Don and John took the business to a fleet of 125 touring coaches, before selling the company in 1984. Using his contacts and wealth of experience in the travel industry, John founded Greatdays in 1985 and has been part of the Greatdays journey for the past 41 years.
