Paris, a firm favourite has much to attract – the world famous landmarks such as Notre Dame and the Louvre, designer shops, infamous cafés and fascinating museums, the list is endless.
Just a short drive from the Calais ports you’ll find quaint towns such as Boulogne or Deauville, ideal for short weekend breaks. Caen proves a great base to explore the gems Normandy has to offer such as Lisieux or Bayeux, but also the evocative WW2 Landing Beaches and memorials, such as Pegasus Bridge. The rugged cliffs and green fields of Brittany enchant with their magical history, language and captivating culture.
Lille, just over an hour from London by Eurostar, boats an interesting history, a fabulous Christmas market and a great base for a combined tours to Belgium. Delve back into history, both local and international, discovering the haunting WW1 battlefields of the Somme.
